I feel the beat and vibration whenever my neighbor plays music or watch movies. How do I tell her nicely without offending that she disturbs my sleep and work. She's playing music sometimes whenever shes home atleast 5 hours a day. Non stop. Thank you!

Unfortunately your only options are to either put up with it, or confront her and tell her how much five hours a day non stop is a big problem for you. If she continues next step is to complain to your strata. If she is a reasonable person and your ok with her coming to your place, have her play something at her usual listening volume and bring her over so she can hear whats going on in your place. Hopefully she is understanding and you guys can come to a compromise. Good luck

And if that doesn't work...

Buy her some of those isolation feet for her sub from SVS ... then present them (or better yet, install them) when you meet her.

Marry her. You won't have to worry about WAF since it seems she's already almost into immersive audio.

Your question is more about dealing with people than audio. As such you might not get the best advice here.....

I'm assuming she's not a friend or someone you speak to regularly. I'd be polite, direct and specific about the impact, whatever it is. If there's a cutoff time you can live with suggest it.

Operate under the assumption she's unaware of the impact. If that's the case, the issue should resolve itself quickly. If not, don't worry about offending someone who has no regard for the well being of their neighbors.

I can't believe no one has suggested the true answer here: buy between 4 and 6 15" subs on 5000 Watt amplifiers and pump your favourite death metal whenever you are annoyed.

Of course it's a joke. Just go over and ask her to turn it down. Geesh. It's not a difficult task.

It wont help in this situation, see my response to @bassdrop.

Or come to a compromise for the hours, she want to play some music or a movie.

I feel the beat and vibration whenever my neighbor plays music or watch movies. How do I tell her nicely without offending that she disturbs my sleep and work. She's playing music sometimes whenever shes home atleast 5 hours a day. Non stop. Thank you!
As most above, I strongly agree explaining your sleep pattern due to work schedule is the best option.

While I got my own house, I do have a business next to me. Since the nature of bass, is to travel through the walls/floor and ceiling. And not much can stop those lower frequencies, to transmit the boom boom sound. Even a boom box can become very annoying, when working on a different shift that require sleeping on a different pattern.

While the business next to me, know they were within their right for legal bylaw requirement. They understood my situation, and no longer play music for certain hours to keep a good relationship as neighbor.

It is odd. It actually illustrates a big problem in this world. People are afraid to simply talk to others or say how they feel. If my neighbor was blasting bass my first inclination would be to go over and have a quick chat with them about it.
Deleted. I didn't feel good about my post for this topic.

Does she have good taste?
