Has anyone experimented with attaching shakers/transducers to the lumbar brace on poang chairs from Ikea? I bought one the other day and might get another to match it if they respond well to transducers. If not, the chair has a high WAF or will go in my office, I suppose, but they have nice clean lines and go well with my decor. On the other hand, I need to fabricate a drink holder for them if I go with that route.

I struggled with where to put the transducers on mine. I think I would put one under the seat where the chair frame is more flat. Get "baltic birch" plywood to mount it to the chair. That plywood looks a lot like the laminated frame on the poang chair. Ultimately I did not put transducers on the chair because I purchased couches. Hope this helps.

Haven't tried it, but have had poangs for a couple years. I wonder if you'd have troubles with the bolts loosening more frequently, with so much vibration going on.... I've had to tighten up a few bolts on my 4 chairs and ottomans maybe once a year. For some reason the ottomans have a tendancy to loosen up more than the chairs. Just a thought...

(BTW... I'm still pi$$ed at IKEA for discontinuing their black "alme" (cloth) cushions. What a shame.)
