I just purchased Pixela Image Mixer a few days ago. I've been toying with the editing features it includes such as titles and cutting clips down, but I wanted to know if there was anyway I could include transitions into my videos (such as a clip fading gradually to black or dissolving slowly into another clip etc...) Anyways if anyone could tell me if I can use transitions on Pixela Image Mixer, that would be great.

And another quick note if anyone could tell me how to find them that would be great also. In case anyone needs to know, the camera I have is a Canon Vixia HF200.

-Thanks.

I have a HF100 and this is what I find...

Perhaps you need to look under the "transitions" tab in the action "movie edit" when you use the ImageMixer VideoEditor.

There are a few simple transitions. I use them every now and then.

Best to use transitions only if you really need to.

Too many transitions, especially the snazzy ones, can be a distraction.

You lose picture quality with transitions and titles.

Simple cut edits do not lose any quality.
