My plasma should be arriving to the shippers (Eagle/JFK) warehouse sometime today. It seems unlikely that they'll put it on a truck and deliver the same day. So monday is the earliest. However, the warehouse is open on Sat, and they said I could come by and pick it up. The question is - will it fit into my car? I have a 2-door Acura (with ok space in the back), or I can have some of my friends help me (the choices of cars there range from 4-door sedans to hatchbacks and station wagons). Should I go for it? or just be patient and suffer through the longest weekend of my life? any help would be appreciated. thnks

I would wait if I were you. First it's a big box even if you take it off the pallet. It will take two people to move the display. It is double boxed and heavy.

Second you assume responsibility for any potential damage once you pick it up. I had to sit and look at mine while I waited for the correct stand to arrive, four long days.

I would not assume the risk on a $3,000 investment. Your mileage may vary.
