My HT is pretty open, L shaped basement with 12 feet from the left front and left surround speakers before there is a wall. What I'm wondering is would it be worthwhile to put 2-3 AT panels on the right wall (see picture)? I have no space right now to put them in the back and there isn't really a left wall since it's open.

No ideas huh, well I guess I can post this in the Acoustics master thread if need be but I was thinking that was more for theory, testing and so forth.

Barring a full on acoustic analysis, I'd suggest raiding the linen closet and grabbing several comforters or large heavy blankets, and hang them on that wall. Watch a movie that you are familiar with, and if the blankets make an improvement, you should add permanent acoustic treatment there. If things get worse, you can always use the money you save to upgrade............ something
