I was going through the Oct issue of Sound and Vision Magazine and came across a Tributaries ad on page 32 about a VX2 processor. This processor does video switching and conversion. It accepts slide in cards one for each video input and output. The input cards can be selected as composite, s-video, component or vga and the output cards can be selected as composite, s-video, component, RGBHV and vga. They also have in development video scaler and IEEE 1394I/O cards. This means that you can covert component to 1394 for use on the new mitsubishi HD2000U Digita VCR recorder and the JVC. The press release can be found on this link. www.tributariescable.com/shock/MRvx2.html
