I was trying to see if I could get the advantage of scaling for nonanamorphic DVDs with the better line-doubling of my iScan Pro. Since the scaling options are only available in progressive mode, I tried turning that on and setting the 4:3 ASPECT to Auto, then running the interlaced S-video line to my iScan Pro, but it didn't keep the Zoom.


Probably makes perfect sense, since the scaling is probably done after the deinterlacing step, rather than before, but hey, you never know till you try.
