My wife is not a native English Speaker, so we like to use the subtitles when watching movies.
We have noticed a problem with the subtitles on some BD's with the Oppo-80 - they run too low on the TV screen and either get halfway or totally cut off. Some discs are fine (Braveheart), but several have been terrible (The Hangover and Zatoichi - new version). I am able to somewhat remedy the situation by changing the aspect to 4:3 from the 16:9 wide/auto, but then the picture size is greatly reduced.
I scoured the manual and searched through the Oppo owner's thread but did not find anything about it - forgive me if it has been addressed elsewhere, and please direct me to the info, otherwise any advice would be appreciated.
