I'm trying this card out on my pc to use in the future with my infocus x1.

My system is as follows;

Asus P4P800dx motherboard

P4 3.0ghz

512mb ram

ati 9500np vid card

120, & 80g drives

windows xp

onboard sound

lifeview flyvideo 2000 tv tuner

Now the problems:

Picture looks like ass. I installed the latest drivers off their site and the software. Not as clean as I thought it would look. I'm running a direct cable from the wall to the tuner (regular analog cable). What settings can I set the card to that may improve the quality?

There's no sound on any captures. I've tried recording the video, and the quality is pretty much the same as what I'm seeing on the desktop, but no sound. Under sound settings I can't change anything, it just shows me mono and everything else is greyed out.

that's it for now, hopefully with your help, i can get this thing going.

I figured out the sound problem. But 2 new things:

There's a green cast around edges, particularly people's faces. Is this common with tuner picture quality, or is this card messed up?

Also, when checking in the device manager, the card shows up as the "FlyTv prime 30". The box shows it as flyvideo 2000, and it looks like the same card on the flyvideo2000 website. Are these the same card or is it something totally different?
