Hello! please can somebody help me?im trying to connect my laptop wirelessly to a smart tv but im not having much luck. ive tried wifi connection and smart share but it doesnt seem to be happening. tv and laptop are connected to wireless router.. lg tv is showing on the control panel of laptop and pc is showing on the tv when i go to device connections so they are recognising each other. the model of the tv is LG 42LB65. Do you think there could be an easier way? there doesnt seem to be a hdmi socket on my acer laptop but i think there is a usb port on the tv. thanks in advance!!

Have you made sure none of your firewall/permission settings are blocking the TV from accessing folders? Are the files ou are trying to send to your television in a format supported by the television?

I would need more information about our system/setup, but it sounds to me like your best bet might be to serve the video to your television via its ethernet connection.

Or are you just trying to turn your television into the monitor for our laptop in general? In which case, you need an entirely different solution.
