Hey, first post. I know I should use the search function... but I was hoping someone that posts here on the regular could help me out right quick. Basically, he has 3-4 thousand to spend on a flat panel. He wants a 50 inch. What is the best for the money? From my research thus far it looks like the Panasonic TH-50PX60U is the best set that is 50 inches and in the 3-4 K range. Anyone disagree??? He'll be using it primarily for watching movies and cable. Appreciate the help.

Yes, the Panny will be a good choice. Also, there is a new Toshiba 50HP66 out for a few hundred less and it includes a PC input.
