Hi all, I understand there is a Sub section, but i thought this subject would better fit here. Here is my problem. I can't get my new Sub working on anything, ie: Xbox360, DVD player, Computer, TV, etc... but I know it works because when I used the receivers auto setup it does sense the sub and it produces sound.
I have a Yamaha RX-V3800 Receiver with Energy C-Series Towers, Center and Surrounds. Today I just got myself a Quest 10" powered sub. Now with the speakers I have had these setup for over a year now using the YPAO Optimizer Mic, and today I did the same after plugging in the Quest Sub using a Digital Coaxial cable.
The sub has a both left and right channels on an input and an output. My digital coax cable is plugged into the left channel of the input and the other end into one of the subwoofer coax connection(black) on the receiver.
Like i said it worked during setup, and the receiver detects the sub on the front panel on devices like my dvd player, xbox360, but no bass.
It must be something in the settings I am missing. Please help someone.
Thanks,
Andy
