Okay, I'm having a little issue here.

I've recently just setup a music server set up on a NAS and I'm trying to rip my new music in the flac format.(All my older music, 300 cds worth is in WMA Lossless format.) I'm Trying to use eac and Foobar but every time I rip a disc it rips into the wav format even though I'm telling it to rip into flac, at least I think I am. What am I doing wrong?

If they're already lossless, why rip again? Just convert.

PS: CDEx rips to FLAC. Free and it uses FREEDB for metadata.

Part of the beauty of re-ripping with a tool like dBpoweramp is that it not only works, but will also pull all the right tags and artwork. Its a very slick tool and worth every penny. Also comes with a batch converter, although that won't get you the right tags and artwork if they are missing.

Olyteddy, I'm not trying to re rip my current collection. I plan on leaving them alone, but I'm trying to rip my new disc to Flac.
