Is it just me or is the TS360's Digital Off-Air Signal Meter inherently messed up? It jumps all over the place with frequent excursions down to zero where is stays for a while. The signal level can't really be zero as the picture is still solid. This meter makes fine-tuning the antenna very difficult. Whats up with that?

You are right. If you look under the Master Samsung 360 Topic you will see all the rants there. I just gave up on mine and hope one day they will fix it. Thank goodness I have been lucky with the waivers. All I need is ABC and my Silver Sensor, RCA Amp, and Radio shack attenuator will go up for sale on ebay.

This was under the .16 upgrade topic posted by steeler:

I talked to a 360 product specialist at Samsung the other day. He told me that they are aware of the OTA meter problem. Their test model is experiencing the same problem. They are now working on a fix. He said maybe next month a new upgrade will be out to fix the OTA meter.

Hmm, looking through the TS360 Master Thread this has obviously been an issue for a loonnggg time without having being fixed. How could this feature be so defective in this receiver for so long without being rectified? I mean, how can it possibly take so long to fix it! How hard could it possibly be!

Are there any "best practices" for getting the best signal level from Digital OTA in the TS360? Or, is it just a matter of waiting for the peaks to appear between excursions to zero?

Is the digital OTA signal meter in the HR10-250 any better?
