Mcarper,
be very careful when selecting a light gun for the Xbox, because I have an 36XBR800 and bought a MadCatz blaster for HoTD3, the gun was touted as HD-compatible, but in the end it wasn't. It wasn't until I read an amateur review (after the fact) that I relaized why the crosshair for the gun was going CRAZY on my set. The best advice I can give you is to call or speak with the vendor in person before purchasing the lightgun, and ask them what are their exchange/refund policies (seems like most people working at game stores are incompetent). Also, if you do find a good gun that works for you, please post it so that maybe I could buy one as well. Hope that helps.
