Well, YMMV, so don't put your television at risk based on anything I say.
That being said, I very recently retired a 50" Kuro (old-school heavy TV) that was on a Peerless 3-way articulated wall mount. It had been up there for 6 years, and I had not touched the various bolts even once during the 6 years.
The screws going into the back to the Kuro were still quite tight.
I had to raise the mount a couple of inches for the replacement TV, and the lag bolts going into the wall studs where a **itch to get out of the wall.
