Hey all,

I have a tv mount on my wall currently for my sharp LED 80". My wife is having wallpapering done on the wall and doesnt want any empty spots so she wants the tv and mount down for the papering. My question is can I just reinstall the mount into the same holes or will there be an issue with stability and strength?

What would you recommend?

Thanks.

What do you mean by pound a chopstick into the hole? Just push one in as far as it will go? Hammer it into the hole? Break it into pieces and fill the hole?

Sorry for the noob question.

Th asks for your help.

Jamb it in as far as if goes and cut off the excess. IMHO if the original bolts weren't over driven (spun in one position tearing out the surrounding wood) then removing and replacing should work just fine.
