I am finishing my basement and will need to buy a new TV.


I will be hanging it on the wall. I will mostly be using for TV but will also be watching blue ray moves and playing xbox. I will be installing a sound system so speakers on the TV do not matter to me.


I was thinking about getting a Samsung UN60D7000 but I see a lot of people having issues on its thread. This is a little more than I wanted to spend but I figure "you only live once" (and my wife hasn't said no yet).


Any other TV's I should be looking at?

If your going to be playing FPS games a lot avoid Samsungs-they're among the worst for processing lag. Sharps are among the best.
