I know that there have been a lot of threads about ripping TV shows from DVD and compressing.

Currently I have used both Handbrake and Fairuse Wizard.

Does one do a better job than the other? From my uses the main things I can distinguish is that using Fairuse I usually go resolution 624x352 and Handbrake usually 704x420. Obviously there are more bits/pixel with Fairuse Wizard. However I noticed that Handbrake uses a new x264 core, core 65 vs core 58 for Fairuse Wizard.

Anyone have any preference either way or am I just being way too anal.
