Very nice. Always hard to tell from screenshots but the pictures certainly look pretty darn good.

I'll probably post some screenshots of my own from one of these babies in a couple weeks or so.... :)

Please remember that small digi cam shots do well to mask such common artefacts (not related directly to this projector at hand) as rainbow, motion dither, pixel noise, grey blacks, blooming, staircasing and a lot of other things.

I'm not trying to put down the images here, they do indeed look wonderful.

But so did the PT-AE100, CP-SX5500 and LT150 images, until I saw those projectors in action for myself. After seeing them, I don't think the pictures are a very good indication of what you will see in action.

cheers,

Halcy

They are fantastic photos but on further inspection 400% zoom they don't look so hot. This is due from what I can tell to very high compression of the photo. To really tell we would need a two megapixel shot.

Morpheus,

Yes, I think it's all to do with personal preference.

I finally settled for the following settings (after the screen shots were taken):

Black level: -2 (sometimes 0 depending on the video material)

White level: -2

Sharpness: -1

Colour: +1

Tint: +1

R Offset: +22

G : +18

B : +25

R Gain : 0

G : -25

B : +5

R Gamma: 2.3

G : 2.3

B : 2.2

Mode: Theater

Hope I can visit your HT some day.

All the best.
