I am currently having a lot of problems with my CATV (TWC NYC). They want to switch my box (though they haven't diagnosed the problem). So typical! Anyway, my current STB, a Pioneer 3510 with an event timer, is discontinued. They are offering a Samsung h3050 (no event timer), but I can also get a SA 4250HD. Does anyone know if the SA 4250HD has an event timer? Believe it or not, TWC doesn't know. In fact, they keep insisting that if I need a 'timer' I should rent one of their DVRs. Total morons!


Does anyone know about the 4250HD? Any info about it would help. Thanks...

What did the timer in the 3510 do? I tried to find out a link to describe it but could not.
