I hope this isn't a stupid question but....If I have two lg blu-ray drives in my HTPC, will I be able to rip two blu-rays simultaneously at the same speed as if I was ripping just one? I didn't know if the increased processing power required or the fact that I am ripping to the same hard drive would cause a significant decrease in mb/s transferred per disc? Any help would be great. Thanks.

PS: Don't worry, this is for legal purposes only!

Try it and watch the Task Manager and sys temps during the burns. Interesting question. I'd check the md5sums too after.

Whats the worst that could happen? Start a PC fire?
I know your HDD will hate you. lol

If your CPU utilization when ripping one is less then 25% then I think you should be able to rip two in the same amount of time as along as if you are able to run two copies of the ripping software concurently.
