1) Does it make a difference what order you have a switch and box like the 202Plus? I have been buying an Extron box for each output then feeding them into my Extron switch which then goes into my BG800.
Would I be smarter just to run my sources into the switcher first and then into my 202Plus? I have an Iscan, a HDTV satellite box and and over the air HDTV box.
2.) For the Extron boxes that output the same sync that is input, if there a way to run a RGB source into an Extron switch box but manipulate what comes out of it-no H or V etc to make the other Extron box think it is seeing a negative input so it will put out negative? The 202s can output negative via a switch but I was wondering about a spare 190f and RGB 109 I have lying around that put out the sync that gets put in.
