Is it really going to be in HD? I guess they're praticing for the World Cup.


It's funny to see the ad for this game in the rolling advertising space below the scorer's table during NBA games.


I'm rooting for the Gunners also, mainly because my Brazilian buddy is rooting for Barca (Ronaldinho).

I am a tremendous Arsenal fan, have been for years!

But my cable company doesn't carry ESPN2 HD, only ESPN HD.

Which means that I will miss many of the World Cup Games in HD as well.

It's on the ESPN Schedule. I noticed my guide didnt have ESPN NBA PLayoffs listed in HD but they were.

This will be a nice test for the World Cup. We'll get to see how ESPN handles live 1080i/50 HD from Europe. There will also be a late-night encore. I gots no ESPN2HD, but hopefully they show the goals on ESPNHD Sportscenter later on.

Looking forward to this one. Henry vs Ronaldinho. Should be a fantastic match in an incredible atmosphere in Paris. First ever broadcast of the Champions League Final in HD. Glad ESPN2 is showing it. It's sort of a preview of what should be some fantastic sights and sounds during the upcoming World Cup HD broadcasting.
