That's the Dalite High Power with nothing projected on it. Lights up doesn't it.

You're using a high power with an HT1000? Isn't that overly bright? Do you still get blacks? What other screens did you demo and what made you choose the high power over the others?


I am currently awaiting a high power and cinema vision sampe to compare to my high contrast cinema vision.

Nope blacks stayed steely black, but whites got little whiter. The NEC is ceiling mounted so that bring the HP down to about 1.5gain. 1.5gain because my previous screen was a video spectra 1.5 and the brightness with the HP is just about the same with my setup. The main plus with the high power is imagaes are looking smoother.
