Guess what Ken and I are doing this weekend?

I've got a little loaner upstairs that is begging to be introduced into my theater.

Ahhhhh yes, digital brightness (actually beginning to enproach 3 chip DLP!) with ultra uber on/off contrast that can only be dreamed about in front projection.

I see yummy pictures of test patterns and various screenshots of some of my favorite material in the near future.

NASHOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's actually gonna be very simple my good friend. I plan on taking the back row seats out of my theater and using 2X4's for a makeshift spot under the hushbox for the loaner. Everything is pretty much tweaked out for the stack, just have to work some scheimenflugy on one of the green tubes, but other than that, ready to go after D65 touchup.

15 foot lamberts. 10 foot wide unity gain. Oh, and yes, you can stack 3 G90's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice!!! I think when i get the rough blend set up on the floor and before i take down the marquee 8500 from the ceiling i will try the same thing !

But I have to wait for my bellow endeavor to happen and then convert my one 8500 to a 9500LC.

cant wait to see what the 3G90 stack looks like !

Thank god you are not bolting that thing to the ceiling just yet. Might need to float a steel beam in to support all that CRT goodness. I'm in the states maybe I should come down, this could be interesting.

Cliff finally gets a three way :p

OH, YOU GOT A PROBLEM!!!

You better go in and get checked out.

Gets to the top of the mountain, has a awesome view, then comes back with a ladder. You should really check yourself in.

LOL. Yeah, I just can't let the loaner just sit around and do nothing.

Bummer. Unfortunately the project has been put off for a while.

No triple stack this weekend...........

I'm gonna start prepping for it though.

So are you doing a table mount (not inverted) third projector ? Ken told me once he would never do it.
I hope you guys have fun. Should yield a more punchy image.

Art

Yep. I'm gonna build a stand out of 2X4's and remove the back row from the theater.

Your former baby will be sitting right below my babies.
