ok, just got back at a friend's place. Saw their new 50 inch LED UN50ES6500 Samsung Smart TV. Why is the picture overly smooth and liquid like it's an HD camcorder effect? Is there any motionflow stuff that you can disable on this model? Looks totally un-natural. Almost like taking a non 3D movie and making it 3D after the fact! Any ideas?

Thats the so-called "Soap Opera Effect" which is the TV doing frame interpolation to convert to a higher displayed frame rate.

You can go into one of the advanced picture settings to adjust that effect to varying degrees - look for more info in the e-help info on picture settings on the TV.
