edit: fixed via this hotfix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/974324/en-us - apparently not underscan at all

Hi All,

Built a new htpc /w the following hardware:

ASUS P7H55-M PRO

Microsoft Windows 7 HP 64-bit

Intel Core i3-530

clean install of wmc7 along with ffdshow for mkv playback

I'm getting (what I think is) underscan on the right side of my Samsung un46b6000 LCD television - and I'm not sure what the best way to remedy it is. Here's a photo of the symptom:

They do show up as well when I'm watching 16:9 1080p films, I just used a 4:3 video so that it'd be apparent what was happening. The "lights" also change depending on what i'm watching.

Thanks for any thoughts - I apologize in advance if I'm ignoring something obvious.
