Any recommendations for a type of wire to use for an underwater cat6 connection? I am thinking flooded cat5/cat6.

The application is for an underwater IP Video Camera (with POE). I am building a custom underwater housing for the camera. The installation will be under a dock at my house.

I realize that water may eventually find its way into the cable (or camera). There will be a junction box close by so that segment of wire can be replaced easily if it fails.

Thanks,

Ron

I assume the enclosure is water proof? If so just run conduit directly into it then there is no need for special cat6 cable. Even flooded cat6 cable is not meant to be submerged indefinately.
