Universal December 12th releases: Hulk & Field of Dreams

Another title to due on HD DVD the same day is Field of Dreams. The main feature will be presented in 1080p High-Def Widescreen 1.85:1 with Dolby Digital-Plus (English 5.1 and French 2.0).

Field of Dreams is a decent enough choice... I'll pick it up. Odd to release it at a time when there is no baseball, though. I would think they'd pick a more appropriate time to schedule this (start of season, Father's Day, playoffs, something...)

I liked the movie but not something I would enjoy owning and watching multiple times. Still trying to figure out if I can stomach purchasing water world...

Wow, I was just thinking about Field of Dreams yesterday. I'll be picking it up for sure. I already have Hulk on Pre-Order.

I'm happy about FIELD OF DREAMS. I had the original DVD but sold it because the transfer was awful. The re-issue was supposed to be better but I held off. The HD DVD should be the definative version and I will own for sure.

Sorry. It's all my fault. But if it's any consolation, the list price is $29.98. If that holds up and the HD-DVD side is 30GB, Universal can release as many combos as they like.

Thank God they didn't delay Hulk by too long! Still haven't received an email from Amazon regarding the delay though.
