We bought a small Florida winter home and there are ceiling speakers I can't identify. Is it safe to assume they are 8 ohm? The previous owner had a cheapy RCA mini system with small 4 ohm cubes which I tossed. He had not hooked up the ceiling speaker wires and I'm assuming because they were 8 ohm. (Actually, I forgot why you shouldn't mix 8 and 4 ohm....I seem to remember it is OK if they are separate amps)
