Last night, I listed a 3060 Replay TV unit for sale on eBay and wanted to let the community know about it in case anyone is interested in getting one. The case on this unit has never been opened (no modifications) and I am the original owner...I've upgraded to the 4000 series and thought I would sell this one to a good home...It works great and there is no reserve on the auction...The highest bidder takes it away....Thanks very much, Randy

If, "This unit has never been opened", then how do you know that, "It works great"?


Oh, I just figured it out. I thought you meant that the box had never been opened, but you are saying that the case of the unit has never been opened for repairs or inserting another drive.

I like your guts in opening for a penny with no reserve! You should do well. I'm watching your auction on "My eBay" to get an idea of current pricing.


I bought a RTV 3060 from Mercata for $400. including rebate back in those days. Currently it's packed away.


I also have a "B stock" RTV 3030 which is currently packed away. The reason it's "B stock" is it was a warrantee replacement for a new 3030 which had a b.o. tuner right out of the box. (Low tech failure, no?) I'd have to check but the original warrantee may actually have a smidge of time left.


It has all the original accessories, manuals, cables, etc. and is in almost "like new" condition in its original box (which is marked "B stock" or I wouldn't have mentioned it). It worked flawlessly while I was using it but I never took the 3030 on the freeway or drove it over 45 m.p.h. I got the original sealed box RTV 3030 as a straight swap for a Sony 30 hr. SA TiVo w/lifetime TiVo service, BTW.

What's your email address, its not in your profile. I got a friend that wants to get into ReplayTV and I have a 3030 I am going to upgrade next week so if we can get our hands on another I can also upgrade that.

I thought it was. I have it set to display but it apparently doesn't. I'd make it public info if there was a way to routinely do so. I'm hesitant about just posting it here.

Wow $405 and still 4 days to go. I guess I was really lucky to find my ReplayTv 3060 for a BuyItNow price of $325


I'm curious does anyone know what the average price is for one of these units?

I got a Sony 30 hr. SA TiVo SVR2000 w/lifetime service on eBay for a "Buy It Now" $390., and a RTV 3060 from Mercata for $400. after rebate. Just recently I got a Philips 30 hr. SA TiVo HDR312 at closeout for $150.


Good deals are where you find them.

I thought that the Showstoppers act just like the ReplayTV units ever since the latest software upgrade.
