The InHD schedules show the Jack Nicholson/Jessica Lange "The Postman Always Rings Twice" for February 7th. Actually the first showings will be in the wee hours of February 8th (1 am and 4:30 am), I guess because the sexual content is "too hot " for prime time.


The OAR is 1.85:1, so it should be uncropped.


According to IMDB, both the DVD and the Laserdisk versions of this film were both panned and scanned to 1.33:1. So this may be the first time outside of theaters that we'll see it in OAR.

Beginning Feb. 5th, InHD is showing several golf-related programs.


I'm curious about one titled "PGA Tour - Live at Pebble Beach 7th Hole." I like seeing golf in HD, but how much drama could there be with coverage of only one hole on the front nine?

However, if I recall correctly, the 7th hole is the short par 3 on the ocean so the view alone will make it worth watching for some.

Are you sure Feb 7 is the first showing of Postman?


I just watched it 1 or 2 weekends ago. I can't remember the channel for sure, but it was either INHD or HDNET.
