Upconverting to Component
Looking for some help to upgrade my current reciever ( Yamaha RX-2095 ). When I first purchased this reciever, I thought it had all the switching capability that I needed ( yeah I know, no one ever heard that before 
. Now I would like to be able to hook up a number of component sources, such as D-VHS, SAT and maybe HD-DVD when it becomes available.
I am very interested in the new crop of recievers that have the ability to "Upconvert" all source components to Component signals. When combined with a processor such as the Faroudja NRS-DVI which has the ability to autodetect a HD signal and either "PassThrough" the HD signal, or process the NTSC signal seems very appealing, and could simplify overall operation.
Question is, what recievers are currently capable ( I know of the YAMAHA 2400 and the DENON 3803 ) of this. I would really like something a little better ( Not the YAMAHA Z9 or DENON 5803, just a bit to much! ).
Any ideas?
