Upfiring Atmos speakers w/ ceiling fan off

Will upfiring speakers be effected by an off ceiling fan? I see lots of people asking about it on, but not off. I would like to know because I really don't want to remove and like it when going to sleep. Its in center of room relatively close to couch but not near speakers.

The fan will interfere with the bounced and create additional reflections against that wave. Getting that bounce effect to work correctly is rather tricky and doesn't sound great even when done well. You'r better off just using front highs, rears or ceiling mounted speakers with a wide dispersion not to close to your fan.
