Hello:


Not to start a war on reciever brands BUT would it be an upgrade or downgrade to go from my NAD T742 to a Yamaha RX-V1400? I mainly watch movies and DVD concerts!!

As I said in your other thread, I think it would be an upgrade in power and features, but a downgrade in sound quality, especially musicality.


Just depends on what is more important to you. Best thing to do is go and listen to the Yamaha and see if you like the Yamaha sound.
