I'm wondering if I can improve my center channel (currently paradigm cc-70)

I use this 90% for ht.

The only thing I would suggest is another RTi38 (behind the screen) or a polk center that has the same drivers as the RTi38. Matching drivers will almost always provide a much better front sound stage.
