I am new and here is a newbie question:
I currently have Panasonic xr-50 and looking to upgrade to another receiver to improve SQ. As long as the receiver can decode the basic 5.1 format(Dolby digital, DTS, etc...) then I am good, I don't care for video at all. I'm looking at the older Yamaha rx-v1 & rx-z1, are these an improvement over the Panasonic, any other recommendations?
