I just got comcast cable so i could download faster. I just tried to get my first show and i got an error message saying it can't connect. My ports are the same as it was before i got comcast. Is comcast stopping me from getting shows from poopli?

Nope. I use comcast for my Internet and have no problems. Give us more details on your setup.

My router is a Belkin F5d7230-4. My port fowarding is set at 29000. Using XP Pro. I can transfer show to pc from the Replay unit but can't get online to connect to poopli. This is the error message i get.

Asked ReplayTV server about unit at ISN 00004-54832-34764.

Found on Replay server.

The IP for your ReplayTV is 24.147.66.110

The Port for your ReplayTV is 29000

Unable to contact ReplayTV unit.

500 Can't connect to 24.147.66.110:29000 (connect: timeout)

Check your port forwarding settings.

Yep if it's a router and not just a modem then you'll probably want to put it into bridge mode and disable the routing and firewall functions (if you can) so you can use your own router. Otherwise you're going to have problems.

You should be able to ask them to swap it out for just a modem, then use your own router between it and the rest of your network.
