Guys,


I am moving to a new house which I will have the luxury of having a dedicated theater room. The size is 22 x 11 x 9.


Now my KET KHT 3005 I suspect will not be up to par with the larger room (though I am planning on purchasing a new sub, likely an SVS, HSU or Sunfire)


I would prefer to go with a towers in the fronts with a good center channel and rears (dipole/bipole). I would also consider going for 7.1


My budget is around 2k (for 5 speakers) and I really don't want to go beyond that as I still have to buy a sub woofer.


If you can recommend a system then that would be awesome. I was looking at Elemental Designs and their systems as well as SVS and even HSU. Though none of these manufacturers has dipole/bipole options (at least not that I have seen)


Arperion and Ascend is in the mix although I suspect that would blow my budget pretty quickly.


Please help!

These do not include a sub. Most suggest checking out the internet sites for hsuresearch or AV123 or edesignaudio.

Many also recommend the BIC Acoustech H-100, Polk PSW505, or the Dayton SUB-120 HT or 100 HT for consideration.


If you can, it is really best to try and listen to the speakers before purchasing them. Unfortunately this is not always possible or practical for everybody. I would encourage you to read some speaker reviews for the speakers you are interested in. There are many worthwhile comments to read in this forum.
