Upgrading My Yamaha RXV870 Suggestions

Trying to stay within a 1K budget on this ... seeking a decent upgrade for my aging receiver. I’d like to stay within the Yamaha family if at all possible. My setup needs to accommodate a PS4, Apple TV 4K, Bluetooth, 4K HDTV, Martin Logan Preface Floor Standing Speakers, legacy I/O support (rca plugs, 1/8 mini plug audio out, banana plugs, etc). I use 3 audio zones at the moment but can drop to two if need be. I’ve looked at the A1080 but it’s been out a few years. Looking for the most current technology so an A1080 might be dated by now. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thank in advance.

@Karl9s the rx-v2085 often goes on sale and is a really nice receiver. It has zone 2 and 3 preouts (unlike the 1080) but it cannot expand to 7.2.4 if you care?

if not then a refurbished a2070 would work too? Similar to the 2085 features.

After some additional research, I'm now leaning toward the Yamaha RS-A2080. I might even be tempted to add a power amplifier to get the most from the a2080 pre-outs. Trying to get the best of both worlds here without breaking the bank. Is there an amplifier out there that won't break the bank and adequately drive both of my Martin Logan Preface floor speakers? I'd appreciate any advice or constructive criticism at this point.

@Karl9s I own nothing high end but some names off the top of my head; ATI, Crown, Bob carver, monolith, parasound, anthem
