Hi guys, So i have a pair of Pioneer Hpm 100's, is there anyway i can replace the back to banana plugs? One of the connections is kind of broken and when i insert the 12 gauge speaker wire they come out. It looks similar to this.

thanks

If it can be done, I think you'd have to open up the enclosure of the speaker.

I think you will find those center plastic lugs can be removed carefully look

at your manual they look identical to the ones Klipsch uses and theirs are

removable with a thin blade eye-glass screwdriver. Once the lugs are removed

a banana plug will fit the center hole.

Hi guys, well after some looking around, I was able to take one of them off for now, I just had to unscrew it, after unscrewed it revealed a metal thing in the back where u can screw things to it. But I'm not sure if there is any type of binding post or banana plugs that will fit. Here's a pic.

Are there any substitutes i can use that will fit? Thanks a lot.

sounds good to me. I'm gonna open one up right now.

edit: ok so i opened it, whats the least amount of work? lol I just want to unscrew the old 2 connectors and put binding post that will fit.

The two center cross screws are the ones where the outside is attached to.
