Yes Ive poured through the old threads and cant draw any conclusions. Its for a 50" 8UK and outages here are not rare. Im not sure about over/under voltages but I want to be on the safe side. With $200 max, what route do I go down

Ive seen this

And this

They both look nice but I still dont know what to go with ...

I went with the TRIPPLITE HT10DBS... I am responding to your thread because I stewed over this decision too.... the boys over at audioholics.com convinced me on what to buy..... check out their website and click on "Our Picks on what to Buy"...... even with their "25,000 system", they still recommend the HT10DBS... what i like about audioholics is that they seem to be good at weeding out the "snake oil" factor... their feeling is that the HT10DBS does the same thing as the popular name brands do and costs half the price.

...do a search in their forums too... there are several testomonials that convinced me too....

I am very happy with mine, it has all the features I wanted (plus some) I feel safe with all my equipment plugged in... this thing is very stout, built like a tank.... I liked it so much i bought the "ISOBAR2-6" for my Sub in the corner of the room.... http://www.tripplite.com/products/pr...m?productID=97

There customer service is really good too.... I talked to a few of their customer support guys for general questions and they were very helpful...

hope this helps man.

take care.

Thank You!! This HT10DBS looks like a winner. Thanx for your valuable input. I will most likely order this one. Right now I will check out that website you recommended as well. Thanx again!

Staples has this item for a great price, in fact the lowest I can find anywhere and free shipping. Plus if theres ever a problem with it, I can take it back to any local staples. This item is definately worth trying for me. :D
