I'm wondering if an upscaling dvd player will make an even better HD-like picture on my 50phd7uy.
I am considering the Yamaha S2500 soon to be coming out that has the faroudja chipset and DVI output.
Or will the scaler in the 7UY be good enough, and what I'm getting from my sony progressive via component not be that much better.
The other option is the Yamaha S1500 which doesn't have DVI, but a pretty good engine.
If I stick with Component video, it saves me money for the HDMI card as well.
