Here is the deal guys. I have a 32" Vizio lcd. I am trying to set up a decent home theater system and I have already bought a Denon HTIB on clearance. I am wondering if I should buy a progressive scan dvd player or an upscaling dvd player. I have heard a lot about Oppo Dvd players but I am looking to spend under $100. Also, could you recommend me a good player. Thanks a lot

99.99% of all DVD players are progressive scan. Including those that upscale. Upscaling DVD players vary in how well they upscale so do your research. Too bad you missed out on today's woot.com deal.

For under $100, I would go with the Sony DVP-NS700H. Great features, easy to use, and does a good job with picture quality.
