Just unboxed a new Dell xps 410 and I'm swapping the 7300le graphics card with an eVGA 7950GT PCIe graphics card. The eVGA card included a pigtail to connect extra power to the card and the instructions strongly recommend doing so. My problem is that the pigtail appears to have two female power connectors. So am I supposed to connect both to the power supply?
Second, there are only two power supply connectors even available in my PC and neither will reach my new graphics card.
Is it safe to run without the extra power?
Thoughts / ideas anyone?
Thanks,
bradesp
