I just watched the Red Sox game, the Celtics and then I put the DVD Carlito's Way in. that was more than 5 hours and if it wasn't bed time I would of watched more.

Mine was on for something like 12 hours straight on Saturday. The exhaust never got any hotter than it did after the first 30 minutes.

I had a Sunday sports marathon in the theater this weekend. I turned my AE on at 11 AM to watch the Indy 500 and off late in the evening after Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN. Probably 13 hours straight.

If the unit is mounted properly and / or has enough ventilation, I don't see any reason it could not run for longer periods of time.

It's a great toy, don't be afraid to use it...
