Does anyone know the status of USB drivers for Windows 2000 with respect to whether they can handle DD/DTS surround sound bitstreams coming from a Creative DVD player?
The standard Windows driver only seems to produce regular stereo and is not passing DD/DTS surround formats.
The version of WinDVD that I'm using supports DD and DTS, provided one uses the SPDIF output from the ATI Radeon.
Should this work via USB as well?
