USB port and Headphones???

I really would like to use headphones for SOUND with my 360 and the MIC. I tried everything to get that to work with the original xbox but it didn't have a USB port. Now that 360 has one (USB) will PC headphones work with the 360 like these ones. Microsoft should be thinking about these things.

I agree, I always thought it'd be nice to have sounds in the headsets as well as players voices.

I actually have a pair of Logitech USB PC headphones at home, but never thought to try plugging them in. Most likely, nothing will happen, but I'll give it a shot (won't be able to try this until tomorrow night, though...).

The old 3DO system panasonic made has a headphone jack in the controller. That system was so ahead of its time.

Hehe thats funny I was looking for the exact opposite :D I wanted the player voices to come out of the speakers.

There's a setting to enable the player voices to come out of the speakers. I forget if it's on the Guide blade, or in the Dashboard, but it's there.

The compatibility list (near page bottom) says they don't work, but he was trying to record a voice message to test it.
