Hi Folks -- I am planning to install some B&W CCM663 ceiling speakers in a new construction house. I am wondering if anyone has used ceiling speaker rough-in brackets (aka mud rings) with B&W ceiling speakers. Given their proprietary install brackets I am concerned that there might be a physical incompatibility with the B&W bracket and rough in bracket.

buy a speaker and a bracket and see how they fit together. Personally if you are planning on spending that much on ceiling speakers I would get ones with integrated back baffle surrounds to mitigate sound sent to the rooms above.

Thanks Jeff. I searched for B&W rough in bracket and this item never came up for me. Thanks for pointing it out.

Thanks for the tip on baffles, but I have no rooms above to worry about.
